I think at this moment, I’m realizing just how much I have to be thankful for this year. Dave, Jonathan and I are all in good health, the housing woes came to a peaceful and beneficial conclusion, we survived the move and Dave is thriving in his new environment.
But what I’m really going to be thankful for this year is a small black dog, likely sitting between my parents, begging shamelessly for some turkey.
I haven’t updated about Rock for awhile, but he was freed from his crate by his vet, who could not have been more pleased with his progress. He went from not walking or moving, being carried to the bathroom and having his hips held up to pee,

So yes, above all else this year, I am thankful for everyone’s health and mobility, and knowing that there are lots of years ahead of us together as a family.
Post bath happiness yesterday:
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Give your friends, family and four-legged companions an extra squeeze today and tell them how much you love them. You never know how quickly it can all change. Be thankful for each moment.
